Words, Women, War

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the University of Milan will host the event “Le parole, le donne, la guerra" [Words, Women, War], dedicated to exploring the relationship between conflict, identity, and public responsibility. The speakers are Pegah Moshir Pour and Widad Tamimi, writers and human rights activists, in conversation with journalist Agnese Pini.
The event offers a reflection on the wars affecting the Middle East and their impact on the European context, drawing on the personal stories of the two authors. Words thus become tools of testimony and responsibility, capable of transforming conflict into an opportunity for awareness and dialogue.
Admission is free, with online registration required until all seats are filled.
