Summer school “War, peace and the world order”
From 29 September to 3 October 2025, the Summer School “War, Peace and the World Order” will be held at the Scuola Normale Superiore – Palazzo Strozzi (Florence).
This highly interdisciplinary program will examine the causes of contemporary armed conflicts and explore practices of peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and conflict resolution.
Organized by the Scuola Normale Superiore in collaboration with the National PhD Program in Peace Studies, coordinated by Sapienza University of Rome and RUNIPACE – the Network of Italian Universities for Peace, the Summer School is funded by Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) through the project MERITA – the Network for Talent.
