Security Package 2026. Critical Reflections and Operational Implications

On May 28, as part of the Criminology Course at the Università degli Studi di Milano, the conference “Security Package 2026. Critical Reflections and Operational Implications” will take place, organized in collaboration with CRIMePO and the Camera Penale di Milano “Gian Domenico Pisapia”.
The first part of the event will focus on a critical reflection on the characteristics and key issues of the latest security package, through presentations adopting legal, criminological, and constitutional perspectives. The second part of the morning will feature two thematic round tables aimed at examining the substantive and procedural aspects of the security package, as well as its operational implications.
