Security, Criminal Control and Police Prevention
Please note the conference “Sicurezza, controllo penale e prevenzione di polizia" [Security, Criminal Control and Police Prevention], which will take place on June 17 and is organized by the Fondazione Centro Nazionale di Prevenzione e Difesa Sociale (CNDPS), in collaboration with Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione Monte di Lombardia.
The conference addresses the topic of public security and the evolution of forms of criminal control and police prevention, adopting an interdisciplinary approach that combines criminal law, criminology, and the history of institutions. Through contributions from Italian and international scholars, the event will examine changes in contemporary penal systems, particularly in the context of emergencies and the expansion of preventive measures.
