Restorative justice and violence against women

On March 20, 2025, the lecture "Restorative Justice and Violence Against Women" will take place as the final meeting of the seminar "Violence Against Women: From Close Relationships to Crimes Against Humanity. 'Visible' and 'Invisible' Forms of a Global Phenomenon." The seminar is organized by the Federico Stella Advanced School of Criminal Justice at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

The lecture will address the complex relationship between crimes of violence against women and restorative justice. Although the Cartabia Reform does not exclude the possibility of applying restorative meetings to such crimes, their structural nature requires careful consideration. The session will explore the benefits that this approach can offer to participants, its systemic potential, the risks to be taken into account, and any possible limitations.

Participation is free of charge but subject to registration via the dedicated link
