Restorative Justice and Relational Violence: Legal Frameworks, Practical Experiences and Testimonies
On 15 June, as part of the ViSAR (Victim Support through Alignment of Remedies) project, the conference “Restorative Justice and Relational Violence: Legal Frameworks, Practical Experiences and Testimonies” will take place. The event is organised by the Padua Criminal Bar Association “Francesco de Castello”, Agenfor International, and La Ginestra Social Cooperative of Padua.
The conference aims to explore the relationship between gender-based violence in interpersonal relationships and restorative justice, with the goal of examining the feasibility, potential benefits, and possible limitations of restorative programmes in response to offences of this nature. Academics, criminologists, and experienced mediators will contribute to the discussion, analysing the topic from both a legal and regulatory perspective and through practical experiences and testimonies.
Participation is free, subject to prior registration. The event will also be accessible online for remote attendance.
