Presentation of the book “Beautiful Laws: 7 Examples of Good Law”

On November 27, at Anteo Palazzo del Cinema, Niccolò Nisivoccia will present his book “Le belle leggi. 7 esempi di buon diritto" [Beautiful Laws: 7 Examples of Good Law]. In conversation with the author will be Adolfo Ceretti, criminologist; Roberta De Monticelli, philosopher; Tommaso Greco, legal philosopher; and Antonella Sciarrone Alibrandi, Judge of the Constitutional Court.
The book, conceived as a tribute to the transformative power of law, explores what makes a law “beautiful”: when it arises from a sense of dissatisfaction with reality and a desire to change it, from attention to people’s living conditions, from immersion in the social context, and from attentive listening.
