Inauguration of “La Statale for Peace”
On October 6, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the University of Milan will host the inaugural event of the initiative “La Statale for Peace” in the Aula Magna.
The meeting will open with institutional greetings from Rector Marina Brambilla, followed by a video message from His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem. Speakers will include Prof. Roberto Cornelli, Director of CRIMePO, Rector’s Delegate for Teaching, Research and Third Mission on issues of peace and social justice, and University contact person for RUniPace – the Network of Italian Universities for Peace; Prof. Enza Pellecchia, National Coordinator of RUniPace; and Prof. Silvia Romani, Rector’s Delegate for Publishing Relations and Public Engagement.
The evening will continue with a musical interlude: a concert by the University of Milan Orchestra conducted by Maestro Ernesto Colombo. Please refer to the attached program for details.
