How Does a Genocide Begin? The Stages of Hate
On the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Casa dei Diritti is organizing a discussion dedicated to the theme of genocide, approached from multiple perspectives: historical, political, legal, and sociological. The event aims to provide a space for reflection on the origins and dynamics that characterize these tragic events, analyzing historical milestones, social and cultural transformations, and the role of institutions in preventing them. The discussion will also address legal mechanisms for protection and prevention. The event will feature Chantal Meloni, Associate Professor of Criminal Law and International Criminal Law at the University of Milan, Gabriele Nissim, President of the Gariwo Foundation, and activists from LƏA – Jewish Anti-Racist Laboratory.
