CICATRICI Curae Festival
From May 6 to 10, 2025, Pontremoli will host the third edition of the Cicatrici Curae Festival, a national event that fosters dialogue between juvenile justice, mediation, restorative justice, and the local community. The festival offers a rich program of performances, readings, installations, book presentations, workshops, and roundtables, bringing to life various locations across the city.
At the heart of the festival are young people from Juvenile Correctional Facilities, students, justice professionals, mediators, educators, and researchers, engaging in an open conversation on wounds—both individual and collective—that call for listening, responsibility, and care. Cicatrici Curae is an opportunity to reflect together on the meaning of reparation and the value of human connection, through experiences, voices, and stories with the power to transform.
