We would like to announce the publication of the English-language guide “Restorative Justice Approaches for Environmental Harm: A Practice Guide”, produced by the Working Group on Environmental Restorative Justice of the European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ).
Developed by a diverse working group, the guide brings together principles, tools, and practical guidance for addressing environmental harm through a restorative approach. Considering environmental harm in a broad sense, it offers guidance, case studies, and resources for managing complex conflicts with respect and responsibility, valuing the participation of local and Indigenous communities and also recognizing the “voices” of the environment and non-human beings. The text therefore promotes inclusive and collaborative approaches toward more lasting and tangible environmental justice.
