National Study Day “Punishing Young People”

Registrations are now open for the National Study Day “Punishing Young People”, taking place on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Padua Correctional Facility.
The event offers an opportunity to discuss key issues in juvenile justice, education, and criminal policy, with contributions from scholars, practitioners, psychologists, educators, journalists, and incarcerated individuals. The day will open with remarks by Maria Gabriella Lusi, Director of the Correctional Facility, and sessions will be coordinated by Adolfo Ceretti, Full Professor of Criminology at the University of Milano-Bicocca and Scientific Coordinator of the Office for Penal Mediation in Milan.
Participation is open to all, but registration and a 15-euro fee are required. Places are limited, and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
