Inauguration of the Master’s Degree Programme Expert Facilitator for Restorative Justice in Criminal Matters (MERJ)

We are pleased to announce the launch of the First-Level Master’s Degree Programme MERJ – Expert Facilitator for Restorative Justice in Criminal Matters, organized by the Department of Public, International and EU Law of the University of Padova.
The Master provides specialized theoretical and practical training required for professional practice, in accordance with Legislative Decree of 10 October 2022, No. 150, implementing Law of 27 September 2021, No. 134 (the so-called Cartabia Reform), which introduced into the Italian legal system a comprehensive framework for restorative justice in criminal matters. In line with the legislative provisions, the programme includes 160 hours of theoretical training and 320 hours of practical training, the latter to be delivered by trainers from the DIKE Cooperative of Milan.
