The March issue of the journal Crime & Delinquency—dedicated to the topic of terrorism and violent extremism—features the English-language article “Building Democratic Resilience: Protecting the Public Sphere From Violent Extremism”.
The article aims to promote a new theoretical framework for democratic resilience, with the goal of improving public sphere responses to violent extremism. Drawing on normative theory and empirical studies on violence, the authors seek to outline concrete steps that democracies should take to preserve the public sphere.
